Australia Celebrates Innings Victory over West Indies in First Test Match
Hobart: Australian fast bowlers destroyed the complete batting line up of West Indies and have won the first test match by an innings and 212 runs.
Australian fast bowler James Pattinson got five wickets just for 27 runs in first test match against West Indies, and Kangaroos have won the first test match by a big total of runs and innings after end of 3rd day in Hobart.
In first test match, Australia won the toss and elected to bat in start of the game Captain Steve Smith lose his wicket on 10 runs then after some time another wicket goes down of David Warner before lunch, they simply dominated the tourists at Oval.
After first session, the Kangaroos batsmen Adam Voges and Shaun Marsh took batting position and both scored three figures innings. When Australia declared his innings Adam Voges scored unbeaten 269 runs and Shaun Marsh on 182 runs, also increase a big partnership of 449 runs against West Indies.
West Indies starts batting with early falling of wickets and all team out on just total of 223 runs with following on. In first innings on behalf of Caribbean side Darren Bravo scored a fantastic century and he dismissed on 108.
Voges, who made debut against West Indies in earlier of this year, scored his first double hundred in 11 test matches. Shaun Marsh scored 182 runs and he gets 19 fours during complete innings.
West Indies Captain Jason Holder had a dejected test match because firstly he lost toss and then Australian do not give any important chance for back in game.
After stumps of the 3rd day, West Indies captain says, we thought we were in a good position but the partnership between Voges and Marsh put us on back foot and complete the hold on match.
