Chief Selector PCB Inzamam Ul Haq To Announce Pakistan Team Squad Against West Indies
Former test cricketer and Captain of Pakistan cricket Team, Inzamam-ul-Haq who is now serving Pakistan Cricket Board as chief Selector will travel today for UAE to announce Pakistan Squad for series against West Indies.
National selection committee of Pakistan cricket Board started discussing about the probability and credibility of all the player which will find chance to play against West Indies of three match one day series in UAE as this series will be started from 30th of September after T20 series in this following month in Sharjah.
As per according to the reports Umar Gul and Muhammad Irfan are not included in this Squad against West Indies so Rahat Ali, Sohail Khan, Muhammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Hassan Ali will have to fight for the slots of four bowlers which will included in this one day series.
This series will be a challenge for Pakistan team because Pakistan team is currently at 9th position in one day so Pakistani team will have to win this series by 3-0 to qualify for the world cup 2019 without playing qualifying round and also to improve their one day ranking.
So according to reports that Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq is expected to travel to UAE today to announce the squad of Pakistani team for this one day series against West Indies after the consultation of Coach Mickey Arthur.
So it is also decided that fast bowlers Hassan Ali, Wahab Riaz and Muhammad Amir will be selected directly therefore in this context final competition will be between Rahat Ali and Sohail Khan.
After his best performance in Only T20 against England, Khalid Latif may be get advantage of playing in ODI squad but still he has to prove well in T20 series, leg spinners will also get advantages which including Shahzaib Khan, Yasir Shah and Muhammad Irfan which also in radar of selection committee.
