Drew Barrymore who divorced her husband, Will Kopelman back in 2016, according to her was living in very “dark and fearful place”.
The actor recently told the interviewers tat the divorce was like a major blow to her emotionally and she was able to come from slump when she received the role in Netflix’s TV show Santa Clarita Diet.
The previously married couple had one daughter named Olive and one son named Frankie both of age five and three years respectively. Actress left the acting for raising her kid but then she suddenly divorced her husband. Drew Barrymore told reporters that she was indeed in dark and fearful place mentally after her divorce and at that moment this script came out. She declined the script by saying that it is probably not a good time.
However she now claims that ironically that script changed my life completely giving me the vigor to carry on life with passion of what I loved doing so many years ago. Barrymore further went on to tell NBC that this role not only helped her to cope with her divorce but also has made things better for her.
She further added to her interview to reporters that when sometime a person thinks that something comes at wrong time and has the wrong idea to it, the very same thing can save you and pulls you out from slump along with giving you new focus and a sense of empowerment which can provide you with better way to deal with your stuck up problems and thinking. This adds something else in your life that can get you to a healthier place in your life and faster.
