New Zealand Won By 70 Runs Against Pakistan In 1st ODI
Wellington: After winning Twenty20 international series, New Zealand cricket team beats to Pakistan in first ODI match by 70 runs and lead the three game series by 1-0.
According to a news report, today, Pakistan and New Zealand cricket teams played first One day international match in which hosts again took fantastic win over green guests by 70 runs in result of extraordinary bowling spell of young fast bowler named Trent Boult.
New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first and made a big total of 280 runs on loss of 8 wickets, Pakistani team all out of just 210 before completing the innings over. Henry Nicholls also played well and introduced fantastic 82 runs and got man of the match award.
Green Shirts lost three match series of twenty format against Black Caps firstly and now, they do not take any positive lesson from previous defeat and presented bad performance in first ODI. Young talented batsman named Babar Azam played well with good 62 runs.
Mohammad Hafeez introduced just 42 runs of 52 balls by getting a chance when Kiwi’s fielder dropped catch on just 15. Criminal recorded fast bowler Amir who got the chance of international cricket after five years he presented outstanding spell and got three wickets just for 31 runs.
Pakistani wicket keeper and batsman Sarfraz Ahmed introduced only 30 runs, Sohaib Maqsood dismissed on 10 and all rounder named Imad Wassem lost his wicket on just 1. New Zealand’s fast bowler Trent Boult got four wickets and other player Grant Elliott took three wickets.
Two young players of host team Santer and Henry also thrashed to Pakistani bowlers in last 10 overs and produced almost 90 runs by showing lot of huge boundaries within a stadium and supporters also enjoyed first one day international match at Wellington.
