Karachi, Pakistan: A massive collision of two trains collided in city of lights area Landhi early Thursday morning led the casualties of 21 peoples while the deadly collision left at least 65 people injured.
The deadly collision in Pakistan’s largest city Karachi suffered by a deadly incident, two passenger train collided early on 3rd November morning, the death toll counted as 21 while the accident left at least 65 people injured.
Two train collisions occurred at 7:18 a.m. in Gadhafi Town Landhi when one of the train name Stationary Fareed Express collided with Zakaria Expres however, the injured number of people also included numerous children as well.
Early in morning, the Fareed Express was still at Juma Goth Train station when Zakaria Express speedily crunch into it by which one bogie of Zakaria Express and two bogies of Fareed Express completely crashed, police and rescue ambulances instantly made their way to crime scene to rescue as many people as they can.
21 bodies who were no more and dead at seen took to Jinnah Hospital along with 65 badly injured people, the head of Emergency Department at Jinnah Hospital Dr. Seemi Jamali was at her duty called about injured people, many of them suffering from head injuries while there are more who is in life threatening condition.
The injured people were carried out to city different hospitals like Jinnah Hospital, Civil Hospital and Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and Emergency has been declared in these hospitals.
Authorities revealed, the driver of Zakaria Express which struck with Fareed Express ignored the signal and the whole incident resulted for his carelessness.
President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif expressed their grief feeling for victims and President of the state ordered for quick and transparent investigation.
