Russian Warship Shot Fired at Turkish Fishing Boat
Russian authorities have claimed that its one of warships let off warning shots at a Turkish fishing vessel in the Aegean Sea to advise stay away from conflict.
However, the Turkish boat came near to 600m (1,800ft) Russian warship when it was warned by the Moscow navy but when the fire was carried out for sake of protection them at the boat then it turned aside, said a Russian Defense Ministry.
The Russian warship attacked Turkish fishing boat to protect them because the boat was came so close, while the captain of the vessel described that no one informed him about the shot firing. The Turkish Foreign Ministry was called over the incident by the Turkey’s military representative in Moscow.
When it comes to talk about the current tensions between Moscow and Turkish authorities that rose since the Turkish military shot down a Russian military warplane, which reported to be entered in its homeland as well clear violation and now both countries are facing controversies.
According to latest news reports, no one reported causalities yet because the Russian shot fired just to threat the Turkish boat because it can be dangerous and was thought to be violation.
On the other hand, the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu has stated referring the incident in his recent statement that Turkey doesn’t want any tension because they always worked to remove the tensions through discussion rather than clashes.
Nevertheless, the captain of the Turkish fishing vessel has told media, they have no idea that the cruise was of Russian as well sent a video footage to coastguard which shows that their boat wasn’t traveling wrong way.
