Salman Butt Played First Twenty 20 After Long Time As Captain In Doha


Doha: Pakistani skipper Salman Butt played first twenty 20 match against Doha Stars on independence of Qatar along with many international players and he takes captaincy of his team but he lost match by 10 runs.


In 2010, Pakistani cricket team toured to England in which he played three series against British side. Left hander batsman of Pakistani team Salman Butt took the captaincy of test team at that tour but he involved in case of spot fixing along with his two team mates namely fast bowler Muhammad Aamir and senior Asif.


On Independence Day of Qatar, two teams Pakistan Stars and Qatar Stars played a twenty 20 show match in presence of many Pakistani top form international players namely Salman Butt, Muhammad Asif, Saeed Ajmal, Imran Farhat, Nasir and former all rounder of Pakistani cricket team Rana Naveed.

Host team played very well in batting and they adjust the total of 145 runs on scoreboard in which Pakistani players Nasir Jamshed and Saad Nasim played very well. While Salman Butt’s team also played very well but they were not achieved the target and lost match by 10 runs.

Almost 17 thousand people supported to both teams at Asian Town Cricket Stadium and they also enjoyed their independence day with seeing a fantastic match.

The best thing is that Pakistani skipper Salman Butt wants to play international cricket for his country again with full potential and courtesy because ICC suspended Salman Butt from all types of cricket formats.

Recently, another punished player of green shirts Muhammad Aamir also played a big domestic cricket league in Bangladesh and selectors of national cricket team also watching the name of Aamir for next tour to New Zealand because fast bowlers played very well in BPL.
