Sonam Kapoor was born in the Mumbai suburb of Chembur on 9 June 1985 to Indian actor- producer father Anil Kapoor who is son of late filmmaker Surinder Kapoor as well creator of the Anil Kapoor Films Company.
She is an Indian actress directly entered Hindi films and became one of the highest-paid actresses in the Bollywood as well one of the most fashionable celebrities in India.
Sonam went the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore to study theatre and arts, while after moving back home holding degree, teamed up Sanjay Leela Bhansali an assistant director of Black (2005).
She is one of the most attractive Indian actresses who made his acting debut with Bhansali’s romantic-drama Saawariya (2007) opposite Ranbir Kapoor and for this role received nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
After that, signed for romantic-comedy I Hate Luv Storys (2010) which emerged her first commercial success. Although her performances in films such as Players, Mausam, Thank You, Aisha and Delhi-6, not only made disappointed her as well her fans and audience.

Last year appeared first time alongside Bollywood super star Salman Khan playing lead role of a princess in the melodrama Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which rocked at box office with highest-grossing.
She also critically acclaimed her performance in the biographical thriller Neerja (2016) that was one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films.
