Sri Lankan Cricket Board Suspended Bowling Coach in Result of Fixing Accusations
Colombo: Sri Lanka Cricket took the match fixing claims recently and after investigation two best players’ kusal Perera and spinner Rangana Herath involved in result of that Sri Lankan board suspended bowling coach of team.
According to a news report, in those days, Sri Lanka cricket team suffered loss of players in result of match fixing. Board gave punishment to bowling coach named Anusha Samaranayake in shape of deferment from his position.
Few months ago, West Indies cricket team toured to Sri Lanka in which they played ODI, Twenty and test series. When hosts won the test match that held on Galle won by an innings and 6 runs, many claims about fixing occurred in front of media in which two players have been questioned by police.
Famous Sri Lankan wicket keeper and left handed batsman Kusal perera also suspended by International cricket council in result of achieving match fixing offered by a local fixer during test series against West Indies in October.
Left arm spinner Rangana Herath also played all type of cricket for his country from last seven years but now, he also investigate by Special financial crime authority due to illegal relation to bookies.
ICC also suspended to Kusal Perera for four years from all type of cricket due to positive dope test and secret connection with match fixer. Now, Sri Lankan cricket board gave big punishment to bowling coach in result of many problems about fixing in game.
Former senior cricketer named Kumar Sangakara much depressed about his country’s cricket because two big players showed irresponsibility in shape of match fixing. Five years back, three Pakistani players took long suspension of cricket from ICC.
Sri Lankan cricket board wants to increase the purity of game by all international players. In those days, a special inquiry committee made investigation of all problems about fixing.
