Two Unknown Attackers Kill NIA Officer Involved in Pathankot Probe


Two unknown attackers stormed the Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) official who was involved in Pathankot airbase attack’s probe, assailant sprayed bullets on Tanzil Ahmad close to his hometown Bijnor in Uterper Pradesh.


According to officials, the unidentified attackers opened fire at Ahmed’s vehicle when he was travelling with children and his wife on his way to home after attending a function, at around 1.30 am.

After the opened fire, onlookers called rescue who rushed to nearest hospital him and his wounded wife but he lost his breathe before reaching medical center.


Tanzil Ahmad crumbled on the spot though the shooting followed by the Pakistani investigation team’s India tour recording decrees of terrorist attacks’ witnesses as well Indian investigators.

Pakistani investigators had also filed an FIR over the Indian airbase attack in Pathankot in wake of Indian officials provided information regarding the people who were reportedly in contact with the activists said to be belonging to Pakistan.

Station House Officer Rajkumar told media, he went to his niece`s marriage along with family contains wife and two children but when they were returning home, two unknown assailants immediately sprayed bullets on them while Ahmed died on the spot but his wife injured seriously. Onlookers informed police and medical center who rushed to hospital his wife and his dead body.

Nevertheless, Mohammad Tanzil Ahmed was part of the probe of several investigations, while IG described by clarifying that he was involved in Pathankot terror attack investigation.

By returning home from his niece`s wedding party, sudden but pre-planned shooting occurred though ATS, STF and UP Police have launched their investigation to find out the actual cause as well as where from attackers came or what relation they have to Pathankot terror attack investigation.
