Miss World 2017 was held on 18 November 2017 at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China. 118 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown.

In 2000 Priyanka chopra won the same coveted title and after 17 year Manushi Chhillar brought home the same coveted title.

Manushi  Chillar also won Femina Miss India World 2017 in may this year

Manushi Chhillar is  21-year-old .She belongs to  Haryana. Manushi Chhillar studied in St. Thomas School in New Delhi and Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonepat.

Manushi Chhillar has a passion for outdoor sports like scuba diving, snorkelling and bungee jumping.and she is also a trained classical dancer too.

Ms Chhillar is the sixth Indian woman to win the coveted title of Miss World.
