Indian film industry’s biggest name Sanjay Dutt, who convicted for his association in Mumbai serial blasts case in 1993, will be released from jail in start of March, insiders told media on Tuesday.
However, a source also shared Indian media that Mr. Dutt will walk out from jail on 7 March as his 40 months sentence over. Sanjay Dutt was convicted for his involvement in the Mumbai serial blasts case March 2013 and the Supreme Court sentenced him five years jail.
The 56-year-old actor was last seen on big screen in 2014 Indian satirical science fiction comedy film alongside Aamir Khan playing Bhairon Singh role, found guilty with strong evidences of the March 12, 1993 Mumbai serial blasts and remained in beyond side of bars for 18 months before his bail after his arrest in 1996.
The Supreme Court sentenced Sanjay Dutt five years jail and was taken to the YCJ in 2013 for facing his remaining 42 months jail.
When it comes to talk about interim, Dutt walked out for four times from prison parole on various locations and was out last time on furlough since 27 August as appealed to join his family as his daughter suffered health problems.
Sanjay Dutt couldn’t pay his proper time as well attention to his signed projects as remained in behind the bars, so many filmmakers are waiting eagerly his release to launch their projects with him.
He is not only who is facing cases, his best friend Salman is also walking towards court just because of her violations as well in connection with the 2002 hit-and-run case.
The actor will join the filming of Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming project ‘Power’ in which he will be seen alongside other veteran cast as Kangna Ranaut, Ameesha Patel, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor. Power is slated to be release in third session of 2016.
