After ten days of her husband Tanzil Ahmad’s death, Farzana Khatoon also died suffering critically injuries in a shooting on 3 April in Bijnor, All India Institute of Medical Sciences’ Trauma Centre in New Delhi declared his death.
The wife of assassinated officer in National Investigation Agency also passed away though her husband remained part of a number of cases connected to the Indian Mujahideen (IM).
Tanzil had handled detention and investigation of case of an India chief Yasin Bhatkal who was murdered past late hours on Saturday by unknown persons at Sahaspur in Bijnor district of western UP, while police reported that 22 bullet were sprayed in his body.
However, Tanzil Ahmad and his wife Farzana Khatoon both were on way to home after attending his niece`s marriage with wife and two children but suddenly two unidentified persons stormed spraying bullets on them, left Ahmed died on the spot but his wife injured seriously.
But today her wife has also passed away on 13 April, 2016, while National Investigation Agency expressed sorrow with deep sense over Farzana death in statement, “It is to inform that Ms Farzana Khatoon w/o Late Tanzil Ahmad NIA Insp(A BSF Asstt Comdt) succumbed to injuries in AIIMS Trauma Centre ICU today at 1045 hrs,”
Last rites of Farzana would be occurred at the Jamia Millia Islamia’s burial ground at about 6 pm today, NIA also revealed in decree. Nevertheless, Rs 2 lakh reward has been declared by the Uttar Pradesh Police one who provide an information about Muneer who is the main accused in Ahmad’s assassinate.
Police has taken into custody two other believed to be part of killings as Reyan and Jainul but Muneer is still hiding himself since the incident.
Moreover, police officers couldn’t find missing people involved the Pathankot attack so far as well remained fail to recover the weapons those were used in the incident.
