The Audi R8 e-tron project has been finally arrived in lest six years as company has officially debuted the fully electrified model that equals to new second generation R8 but internally it termed as Audi R8 e-tron 2.0.
Audi jumped to electrified car projects for at least six year, if market mature about Audi electrified entry it will get another chance to hold a worthy place in market.
Audi R8 e-tron not come as surprise because first it was on then it was off and now it’s expecting company officially debuted with fully electrified version.
Internally referred Audi R8 e-tron 2.0 fitted with T-shaped lithium ion battery into the central tunnel but behind the passenger cell, the powerful T-shaped lithium ion battery can go a full of 280 miles with a single electric charge while the dynamic abilities of Audi R8 e-tron has been enhanced by torque vectoring capability of model.
Which can be enabled by two rear motors. The speed car fitted with low rolling resistance tires that drops the figure of 130 mph however, the real mounted electric auto motors produced the horse power of 456 the torque increased to 679 lb-ft.
For the sake of comparison, the first e-tron wheel can produce 313 horsepower along with torque of 502 lb-ft while the newer one enhanced horsepower to 456 and the torque to 679 lb-ft as well. The motor reached 62 mph in a no descriptive time slot of 5.2 seconds.
Audi R8 e-tron can be sharply differentiated from its regular R8 by it slimmer low rolling resistance tires which almost fully covered with aero focused wheels.
The price tag on R8 e-tron 2.0 is £850,000 that is really a problem but in the world where hyper cars are now approach to £ 1m, one can still expect Audi.
