Bollywood Embraced Me, When I Came To Mumbai; Shahrukh Khan


The superstar and the king of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan thanked the film fraternity for embracing him and giving him love when he moved to Mumbai.

On the night of National Yash Chopra Memorial Awards SRK said, “I amthankful for the love I received in India, as I have no family when I relocated to Mumbai.Bollywood the city of fantasy welcomed me heartily”.

Shahrukh Khan said he is working from twenty-five years and his routine is to put make up early morning and do acting, more often he get it wrong and sometimes he get it right. When hemoved to Mumbai he had lost his parents and her sister was ill, SRK shared at award night.

After receiving the award Shahrukh Khan said, “I was adopted by Indian Film Industry when I was alone and now I have a family of billion people. Iamthankful to everyone”.

At National Yash Chopra Memorial Awards the 51 year old successful actor was honoured with award in the presence of Yash’ wife Pamela and actors Jayaprada, Rekha, Simi Garewal, PadminiKohlapuri and governer of Maharashtra. In front of them the Bollywood king said, “To be honest, it is one of the most important evening of my life. This is loving how people here are talking nice about me andshowing documentary of mine. This wasn’t possible without gentleness and kindness of everyone I meet daily”.

Yash Raj banner was awarded to the super star for his superhits like Veer Zara, Dill tohpagalhai, Darr, Jab takhaijaan. He also shared his warm feelings with Yash’s wife Pamela.

“She is my substituted mother who brought me up. Everyone who is under Yash Raj banner feels like their own child. This is my fortune to work with Yash ji for my various films including the last one”, SRK said about Pamela.
