ICC Test Team Ranking: India Overcomes on 1st Position, South Africa Fall on 3rd


Dubai: ICC issued the latest test teams ranking in which India took 1st position after a long time and South Africa slip on 3rd in result of losing home test series by 1-2 against England.


An online sports news portal told ICC issued fresh test ranking in which India prevailed first position because recently, Blue Shirts won the 4 test match series against South Africa. Australia also has on 2nd with 109 points.

In those days, England cricket team toured to South Africa for the purpose of playing long cricket in shape of test series, ODI and T-20. Firstly, both were played test series and guest won by 2-1 and settled their position in ranking but host fall on 3rd with same points of Australia in test ranking.

Pakistan also saved his 4th position in test ranking with 106 points because Green Shirts introduced lot of potential in that type of cricket in captaincy of Misbah-ul-Haq for last three years. After winning the long series against South Africa, England carries on 5th position according to latest ranking.

New Zealand cricket team did not play well in test cricket so, they have 6 position in ranking and other illegible teams like Sri Lanka on 7th, West Indies on 8th, Bangladesh on 9th and Zimbabwe stopped on 10.

Pakistan loses his best progress in ODI cricket and T-20 because they lost two international series prospectively in opposition to England and Black Caps.

In 2012, South Africa won the Test series against England and took 1st position in test ranking but now, they defeated by British’s cricketers and lose first position and slipped on 3rd along with Australia.

India confirmed his best progress in that type of cricket format by getting top seat after a long time when Dhoni retired from test cricket.
