Ronda Rousey, became American top mixed martial artist, judoka and actress has signed an agreement to host the “Saturday Night Live,” 23rd January episode alongside Selena Gomez who comes as musical guest.
However, the 28-year-old Rousey who recently was seen in “Furious 7” is not the first one in a long list of superstar athletes who is going to host the television show as Charles Barkley, Derek Jeter, Wayne Gretzky, Derek Jeter, Peyton Manning, and Michael Jordan have also performed on over one occasion.
It is going to be first time as the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion will host the NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” while middleweight champion Marvin Hagler and heavyweight champion George Foreman, both have been hosted the America’s most-liked late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show.
Yahoo Sports has elected Ronda Rousey the “MMA Personality of the Year”, who has received praiseworthy remarks for her acts in previous releases as “Entourage”, “Furious 7”, and “The Expendables 3.”
