Three gunmen burst into the sprawling the New Sariab Police Training College which are 13 kilometers far away from Quetta City where they headed straight from its hostel, the Police recruits were sleeping. The three gunmen militants opened fire on some 700 recruits and sent a terrified young man who was 15 to 25 years old in age.
The IG Frontier Corps (FC) Major General Sher Afgan reported communication intercepts revealed the militant attack was carried out by Al-Alimi faction of a militant group Lashkar-i-Jhangvi (LJ). According to Group’s Amaq agency, the militant attack’s responsibility has been claimed by Islamic State.
The local media network Dawn News reported, twin suicide militants who was wearing suicide vests become the cause of most of killing as they blew themselves up while the third one was targeted by Frontier Corps Troops.
